Crazy celebrities writing books alert!! I was browsing and discovered an article written about two weeks ago stating that Geri Halliwell (ex-spice girl) has been named a best selling children's author!!

I just found this totally disturbing and wrong!! Why is it that anyone who was/is famous can write a book and people like it just because it is written by someone famous!!
I guess I cant bash the book because I haven't read it myself, but come on.... its written by Ginger Spice......

I saw your post and couldn't help but laugh. Apparently, society feels that if you are famous for one thing, you must be good at everything else; however, this is incredibly untrue (if anyone has seen "Glitter", you know that some singers should just really stay off the big screen). Writing a good children's book takes more than being takes more that being famous, but something tells me this book will sell countless coppies just because it was written by a spice girl....very, very sad
I loved your post! That is so funny that Geri has come out with a children's book! That is hilarious! I don't like that I judge her for coming out with a best selling children's book, especially because I haven't written any books; however, I think it is great the she has come out with a book that everyone enjoys. I just wonder if they like it because she was once a spice girl or not! Great post!
Crazy celebs. They love to try and be good everything. Will Smith is also coming out with a children's book called "Just the Two of us." I don't think this will be going away anytime soon. Great Post!
